ON CAMPUS RECRUITING EVENTS

Each fall the Rowing Club hold open recruiting and tryouts at the beginning of the semester. We typically can be found set up near Tate in the middle of campus, and can provide you with any information you need.

For Freshman interested in trying out, please stop by our table at Tate during the first 2 weeks of classes and ask any questions you might have. We will be hosting a few other recruiting events around campus as well, including mass informational meetings to give those interested a more in depth look at our team, coaches, and the sport of rowing! Any students interested are encouraged to fill out our new rower interest form here.

TRYOUTS

Each fall the teams hosts open tryouts during the 3rd and 4th full week of classes. These tryouts consist of general training sessions involving running and some bodyweight strength/core. We also conduct training sessions on the rowing machines meant to help provide a few fundamental tips for rowing itself.

More details about these tryouts will be given at our mass informational meetings!
